about

Hosanna: a Jazz Setting for Holy Communion was written as a seminary project by Dennis Hendricksen and David Hunter. For over 30 years this setting has been used in churches around North America. Tracks 2 -12 form the actual Liturgy, with the remaining tracks being supplemental material. This setting is intended to be sung by the congregation which is demonstrated by a small vocal ensemble on this recording.
